When Vigilantes Rule
by Conner, Kevin L.
When Vigilantes Rule is a redemption story. Tommy Crow, a recovering addict goes out for ice cream for his wife and daughter but never returns. He ends up in an Underground that is underground. A huge vigilante group funded by billionaires who wish to change the social consciousness of America. Tommy wakes up in a place not his own. No pillow or covers. No wife or child beside him. Just a cold, damp slab of rock. The last thing Tommy remembers is going out for ice cream. But before getting the ice cream, he took a detour and did something stupid. The media has dubbed the disappearance of thousands of Americans as the "Black Hole". Authorities are at a loss as to what was happening or where these people went. They suspected a large, well-funded vigilante group was behind it. Just as the criminals use the cover of night to commit their offenses, the vigilante group does the same! Criminals are snatched off the streets and transported to their possible place of redemption.
