The Kindred of Kali

Crackle and Bang are Back! Professor Harmonious Crackle and Miss Titania Bang have sped across the continent to deliver their friend, Sir Richard Blasphemy, to the home of his Aunt Phyllis in Kanpur, India. They arrive in the midst of a garden party for the cream of Kanpur society. Among the guests is the daughter of the local maharaja and soldiers from the Imperial Garrison, including Sir Richard's younger brother William on his first deployment as a lieutenant. The brothers reconnect, and Sir Richard realizes that his brother has formed an attraction for the maharani. The party is then attacked by a group of female revolutionaries armed with powerful, steam-driven harnesses which give them the eight-armed appearance of the goddess Kali. Battle ensues, the attackers flee, and afterwards they discover that the maharani and Aunt Phyllis have disappeared! Our trio offer their services to both the British Imperial forces, and the local maharaja, only to be rebuffed. Unwilling to sit idly by, Sir Richard decides to conduct his own search to find his aunt, and the woman his brother loves, and discover the secrets of The Kindred of Kali .
