Returning from the Moon with alien technology, Perry Rhodan has established a base in the Gobi Desert and declared it a new nation, a "Third Power" on Planet Earth. Needles to say, the inbred politicians of other countries would not tolerate this. They joined forces, to combat this "menace from the stars." The earlier Ace releases of Rhodan contained TWO novels each, so this is technically not #2, but ##3 and 4: *The Radiant Dome* and *Twilight of the Gods.*
