This story will let you forget about bad politics and other worldly problems - for a while. While Peace Comes in Pieces is fictional, it is so graphic that it seems real. Many a reader will be able to identify with its characters -the good ones that is. It may even sow thoughts about how and where they want to live henceforth. They may shed a tear or two, laugh out loud at times, and check under their beds after reading it before going to sleep. The story is cruel in places, amusing in other and downright heartwarming at times when it involves domestic and wild animals that take the center-stage in several chapters. It is not for the squeamish.
